J.L. Merrow’s book relies once more on a 1st person POV.Reading Hard Tail meant watching the world through Tim’s slightly fogged window (the man is damn clueless) and guffawing at comical situations and witty lines, while he lived his day-to-day life, nurtured his ugly duck complex, mooned over Matt, extricated himself out of the closet and finally slayed the dragons. There is no deep characterization or story development and it gets a little corny in the end, but did I laugh!
